ONE CAT'S VIEW

Oh, dear, this is not very good quality. I have much better ones of oak leaves in the snow with glistening droplets of icy water in them, brilliant focus, but somehow, Tigger's position sums up the day. Inside looking out, a decision to be made. He decided to stay inside.

Traffic is moving steadily along the valley road but ours is blocked and will remain that way until the snow melts. Himself, however valiant, could not shovel away a kilometer of snow. What kind of cloth ears would live halfway up a mountain with a scary road where they could be snowed in for days? Well, the thing is, up until last year it didn't snow here. A few flakes, perhaps. You could count them. I thought last year's blanket was a fluke, we would never be snowed in again. Hah-hah. And me with a toothache.
