Posting Xmas cards in the snow

Now I know what the red sky was warning about (see yesterday's blip)- it's been snowing today.

I took a walk to post the Xmas cards in the middle of the day. And it's kept on snowing all afternoon. I'm now wondering if the postman will even have come by to collect them.

Note to Americans reading this: the mailman doesn't collect mail from your mail box, you have to post them in a post box (usually red) that is in the street. This one is on my bike route to work.
