Dewi's first sledge ride

Met up with Dan, Lynn and Dewi this morning for a walk round Bushy Park and to let Dewi try out his new sledge. Everyone was disappointed Ruby and Wallis were absent (Wallis at a sleepover and Ruby lying in at home).

We had fun anyway, though it was curious that Dewi didn't want to be pulled in his sledge at all. Nor was he too keen on Lynn, his dad, grabbing him for this slide down the only bump we could find in the park. Dewi had serious words with his dad at the bottom of the slope.

Lots of excellent snowmen around and Brome made a snow angel with a flat cap instead of a halo.

Got home and Ruby and friends still lying in. Then had two hours in Sainsbury's, followed by an excellent roast courtesy of Brome.

Later we had drinks at the vicarage with the new-ish vicar and his wife and met a whole load of neighbours we'd never seen before.

And Boo has come into season. Our little puppy....
