candy canes!

This book I have calls making candy canes a scientific experiment. and that it was!! It was a total flop but the excitement about it was worth it and although ended up with two tiny candy canes and a huge mess, fun was had by all. Except Josh, I guess. He stuck his finger in the hot sugar mixture while we were waiting for it to cool. OUCH!
