Monday: Change Of Plan

The original plan was for K. to come down to London for a couple of days, after which we would drive up to Liverpool together. But hairy road conditions and the heating breaking down in K.'s mother's house meant we changed our plans this morning. I have therefore thrown myself in amongst the crowds at Euston Station in order to catch the train to Liverpool.

So far, so good - train has left on time. If you don't hear from me in a few days, send supplies. I may be stuck at Crewe!
