Kaiserslautern, Am Altenhof: Outdoor Cafè

After more than 30 years working in Kaiserslautern I can say that road conditions today were about the worst I have ever seen them in the city.

Rain and temperatures above 0°C made some of the last days snow dissapear over night, but heavy snow at around 8:30 am and dropping temperatures started the game over this morning.
No buses since 10:00 am, all schools closed down early in the morning.

I am very relieved I made it home. Trains were late, but running.
10 minutes to get the new snow of the car. Got stuck in the white mess 200 meters before home, but manouvred the car out of it somehow.

Mulled wine to relax now. Don't need to go outside again today.
