Truly, there is never a dull moment when Brant is around and on an afternoon once feared to be quiet at best, we instead take to the cold, armed with so much coffee and gloves and ladders, extension cords, and lights both old and new. Between four of us, it takes only a little over an hour or two to deck out trees, hedges, a fence, and some rather elegant shrubbery. Best afternoon in recent memory.
