The Best Part of Cookie Making....

Why eating the dough of course!
Apparently there was something really funny about licking the bowl of gingerbread dough this afternoon....

The request was made by my daughter to make gingerbread cookies yesterday...so today the kids and I embarked on the adventure. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from making Christmas cookies and bread with my mom and brother.

Flour rolled sleeves, sticky fingers, the smell of cinnamon and nutmeg, and an hour or so later, the dough is in the refrigerator waiting to be rolled out and cut into shapes.

Maybe I will blip the final product tomorrow...it should be interesting :)
