Bleak midwinter

I took the dags for a walk down Braygate, tis the road that leads from Bishop Wilton to Youlthorpe, indeed, where I cleverly got stuck last week.
It's far more slippery now, quite un-nerving.
Still very bleak, and at -7 not too pleasent.

We watched a programme on Yellowstone Park last night, Bison foraging for food thru snow about 2ft deep, foxes hunting mice in similar conditions.
Fasinating.
We haven't got it that bad really, we're just not used to it, that's all.

Oh well, can't hang around here all day.
Santa stockings to be made -with fabric that I brought back from Hong Kong-
for the Grandkids.

Take care and stay warm.

We think we've got it bad
