Our first real day in India. we had a pretty busy schedule. My friend from highschool, Swathi, took us around all day.

First we went to pickup the tickets we had bought the day before.

After that we went to a temple behind a mall (you had to go through the mall to get there). When you are walking through the mall you suddenly see a massive statue (about 20m high I would guess) which is also in this photo. There was a sort of themepark like cave you could go through to see all kinds of holy places rebuilt in miniature.

Then we went to a very large Hare Krishna temple (ISKCON) which was quite impressive. Also very interesting to see how people here have a very different way off experiencing religion.

We spent the evening at a very nice outdoor club which had Karaoke. we had a blast and sang the night away (untill 11.30 when everything has to close in Bangalore)
