How many inches?

Thought I'd check how much snow we've had, as I've been telling everyone we've got at least a foot of snow.

I'm a little bit out - only 7.5 inches. This is how much snow has settled on our patio set which I blipped here: I meant to take the picture in the daylight, but got sidetracked - really busy day with a bit of a crisis in the afternoon, thankfully sorted but involved spending most of the afternoon on the phone.

But I'd thought I'd better take the photo tonight even though it was dark, just in case all the snow has melted by morning. Well, I live in hope, I'm fed up with it now.
