Christmas Present

This is a pen holder. The teachers at school all put in a few bucks to buy the foreign teachers a gift for Christmas. They gathered around and wished us Merry Christmas and gave us our pen holders. Some may think it is not pretty but it was given with a lot of love.. the TRUE spirit of Christmas.. so it is very very beautiful to me. As was said during the speech.. These guys truly are my family here.

This will be my 6th Christmas here in China and spending it with my Chinese family is very special.. I miss my family very much at Christmas but these wonderful people are also part of my family and I love them dearly. I thank them for their gift.. and for their love.
