Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay

A thoughtful day. Accompanied my good friend Raj to Cliff's funeral.

Thinking about friends and friendships and making more time for them.

Thinking about family - my parents are staying and my sister and

her family came to supper. Felt like a good start to Christmas time.

The blip is a sculpture at Egypt Mill in Nailsworth where we gathered after the funeral to remember Cliff. Cliff was a carpenter and handyman and foreman of works when Egypt Mill was restored in the 1980's and 90's. I was draw to the lone figure on the island in the mill stream.

Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay was the song played at the begining of the funeral service.
