Day Two

So this morning the weather was fine and we spent the time at the swimming pool.
In the afternoon we went for a walk in the direction of Beruwela.
At a certain moment we changed direction to the beach in order to walk back along the sea.
We came to the beach but we saw we couldn't go back because it was high tide, the beach was very narrow and flooded almost completely.
Never mind: we came to talk with some nice men but as we already experienced, they always try to talk you into a shop or something alike...
We ended up buying a ring, reduced the price to half (in any case cheaper than in Holland) but of course we still paid too much...
On our way back it started to rain, and I mean plenty of rain!
So we found a shelter but we decided to take a Tuk Tuk (therefore the blip is just appropriate) back to the hotel.
We paid more because of the weather, the rule is: always cut the price to a bit less than half and you end up with a price that makes everybody happy.
