Christmas Backblip 1

I have taken a few pictures this week but been unable to get the time to blip them to blipphoto, membership of which over the past year has certainly made me think more about what I take and why I take it. It is also a great place to see different visions and different ideas in action. This - the first of two seasonal backblips for me this cold Christmas Eve morning - was taken on Tuesday when I was at Bute House in Charlotte Square in Edinburgh. It is the Christmas Tree in the middle of that elegant New Town landmark which looks very different in December, compared to the bustle of the book festival on the same site in August.
