Frozen...

So the acclimatisation is going not too bad. I'm able to get away with tee shirt and unzipped hoodie. New variables have come to light today. I was at Ocean Terminal and decided to use some of the time to go for a much missed skate at the skatepark there. Since that, which for me is a the equivalent of a really strenuous session at the gym, I've felt a quite considerable lack of cold inspite of the car reporting that the temperature has gone below zero.

Do you realise, Leith Docks and Ocean Terminal are just down the river from South Queensferry where I'm going for a dip in less than a week, hence the acclimatisation. This is the scene at Leith Docks that presented us today. A good portion of the water around the ships was frozen.
