Machines

Today I went with my dad to the oil mill to bring the olives to press. It's peak time for oil making here in Liguria and there is a long line of people waiting. While my father was chit chatting with the owner of the mill I was browsing around the big metal machines scattered all over the place. They are not exactly high tech....but they don't need to be. In the end we used to press olives with a big granite wheel powered by mules until a couple of decades ago. They are colorful though and they make a good blip!
