Boxing Day

Not up too early, thankfully, but eventually had to face the (pretty nice) day. Now the true holidays starts - Christmas is over!

The kids started the day making cupcakes for breakfast in the new cupcake maker - yum. The Adam and I headed to the marine shops to buy lots of gear for the next couple of weeks.

Hope for lunch and then down to the beach. Nice, not too hot and not too busy. Perfect for just hanging out. The another lovely dinner outside with the family, and getting ready for a big day tomorrow.

I am being picked up at 4.00am as Phil is taking the boat to Great Barrier, we have to try and get there before weather turns bad. It's a 2 hour trip, probably at around 30 knots, in an open boat. Here?s hoping the weather is good!
