Crunch

This is the final picture taken with my first-ever digital camera.

Just after I took the picture, I dropped my little Sony Cybershot (with its massive 3.3 MP sensor) and it landed with a sickening crunch. It had cost a fortune in 2001 - in fact the same money today would buy an Olympus Pen - but the insurance company replaced it with a 5MP model that cost about a third of the price.
