Unmistakable

After some lunch, we met up with S and L for a showing of Tron Legacy. Not the best film in the world, but the music was ace, and the general design of the whole world was a feast for the 3D-bespecced-eyes, despite not an awful lot of it actually being in 3D (and not a lot of that actually being any good - surely it's about time someone worked out how to do 3D properly?).

Afterwards, Larissa and I wandered around town. With everybody somewhere else, Edinburgh's city centre on Boxing Day is really quite peaceful, and, of course, rather beautiful. Early evening saw the purchase of a bag full of DVDs in the HMV sale (which should keep us entertained for a while back in that other place), a walk down Princes Street in non-sub-zero temperatures, admiration of the twinkly trees and snowy castle, some mulled wine at the practically empty German Market, a trip on the almost empty big wheel, and then home for a cosy night in front of the telly.
