Fun football

The Fisherman and Firemen's charity football match on the South Bay sands is a Scarborough Christmas time institution dating back to 1893. Originally the fun football game raised money for families of the fishing industry (the name refers to trawler crew, on deck and in the engine room), but now money collected goes to old folk.
Today's windy, cold and rainy weather was more uncomfortable than the recent freezing snow, but it'll be good to see winter 'warming' a little.
