Lovely waxy flowers which come out on long spikes with numerous flowers. They hang like bells not opening very wide.


The Yucca represents a genus Yucca comprising about 50 species of perennial plants, shrubs, and trees from the family Agavaceae (the agave one). Its species originate from hot and dry areas of northern Unites States, Cetnral Unites States and West India. The Yucca represents the state flower of New Mexico.

The plant?s foliage remains green even during the winter season. Yucca is remarkable by rosettes of rough, sword-like leaves. It produces white-colored clustered blooms that are borne at the top of the flowering stem.

Yucca is highly appreciated for making perfect ornamental in the garden. Beside of, the fruit, seeds, blooms, flowering stems, and even roots of some species are edible. Dried plant possesses the lowest ignition temperature of any wood,making it preferable for fire-starting.
