Hunting Lodge

Ken and I took a drive to his friend Mario's hunting property today. Mario wasn't around which was a shame but we had a look around anyway. Ken has been there before so knew his way around.

Mario only recently acquired the property. The previous owner was obviously extremely handy and a bit of a bushman. He made all of his shack s out of bush timber and what looks like palettes. Amazing. He was also a prolific home brewer. The was quite a brewing setup and more bottled homebrew than I have ever seen in my life!

It was very interesting to look around.

As you can see it has been a very successful hunting lodge. This is just a small portion of the skulls on the wall. Feral goats, pigs, cats and I would imagine foxes too.
