Spoon Drop

My first attempt at this "water drop" lark, and it's more difficult than it looks! I took about 30 shots of which only 3 included any action! My "kit" comprised a tap set to drip, some black material as a backdrop, a tablespoon (would have used a glass but figured it would take too long to get one clean enough not to look dirty under the light from the flash), and a bottle of washing-up liquid to balance the spoon on the edge of the sink. Set the camera to under-expose to keep the black cloth black, and used the built-in flash.

I may come back to this again when I have more time, probably when I next run out of ideas for this "photo-a-day" project :-)
