Ticking Away the Moments

Evesham

Went into Evesham today, mainly to get some fresh air and also to feed the ducks.

Although we don't live far from Evesham, we don't go there that often. This photo is a view from the market place towards the abbey which was founded in the 8th century. From the abbey, we walked down through the park to the river. Still quite a bit of snow & ice around and the river is scarily high - I think there's going to be another flood especially if it starts raining. Have a look at this for the water level - wouldn't want to live in the retirement flats just behind the river.

The ducks, geese and swans were very happy to get some food, we had a big flock of them round us and my other half got a great photo of one of the swans coming for the bread here

Had a really nice afternoon, finished off with a coffee in Costa's.
