I took a walk with my kids to Highfield Reserve to take a few photos of Kawau Bay and surrounds - perhaps in the reserve as well. I took a number of shots of the kids (of course), Miss 5 took a few shots of me, and a couple of the bay, but in the end I've decided to blip this photo: of Algie's Bay as seen from the reserve, with a frond of Toi Toi in the centre, flax below it, and pohutakawa off to the right - a trio of very NZ plants.

... Also, Mrs tsuken and waipushrink both thought it the best. ;-)
