Mist

As the temperature warmed up in the north of France, the snow around the cottage began to thaw and create a thick mist. It completely changed the landscape around. The trees on the edges of the fields blurred and seemed miles away. The phone wires faded into mid air between the almost invisible telegraph poles. And the symmetrical fences disappeared a mere few metres ahead. It was nice to walk in. It made everything feel really secret, in a way, as you could only see something if you walked real close.
