Herring Aid

This young Herring Gull at Dunbar harbour doesn't need directions - but there's plenty on offer. We went to the swimming pool towards the end of the day which was surprisingly quiet considering it's school holidays just now. Gordon (5) worked up the nerve to do the flume, then couldn't stop - he even got in trouble for coming down head first. Good lad!

The John Muir Way extends right round the East Lothian coast now, although my favourite section from North Berwick to Dunbar cuts inland and along the Tyne. It's great on a bike and lands me right at my front door. Nice place to live, East Lothian.
