Day five: Nee Year in Jaipur

Another day, another Jaipur. Went to Old Town, City Palace, Royal Observatory, other minor palaces ... and it was lovely. Really fantastically lovely. You must come, and that right soon.

Some reservations: the Revolving Restaurant is dry (close shave), the bar thereunder is cowboy-themed, the place generally is still mad. But it is most definitely lovely.

Picture shows New Year celebrations - currently low key, but there is talk of a party at a local hotel - Jaipuri-fashion.
