Silvester

Silvester is what Hogmanay gets called here and it's celebrated in many of the same ways - lots of drinking (I saw my first public drunk here when I was out for my daily constitutional) and fireworks. I would have thought the two were a pretty poor combination but what do I know?

I wish you all the very best for 2011 - Frohes Neues Jahr as I would try to say in my mangled German.
