all go in the summer

Possibly due to the wind getting bored by the time it's blown over twenty miles of similarly flat fenland it was blowing rather listlessly across Green Lane when we went for a trundle and had so far failed to shift much of the compressed ice covering various nearby road surfaces. Significant snow/ice on Green Lane would almost certainly mean significant snow/ice on Sandy Lane and probably also Wellsyke Lane, resulting in a slightly tricky normal easy basic minimum trundling-circuit such as would usually be cycled around in the absence of sufficient time to go anywhere further and with slightly greater variation in altitude, had I had my cycle with me. Walking at least provided some exercise, the level of which was increased slightly by walking on what looked like all the slippy bits, for practice rather than to freak my mother out, as she seemed to assume to be the reason for so doing.
