In Retrospect: Hello, I Knob You

Saturday afternoon, and while Albion are beginning their FA Cup campaign against Huddersfield, I head to the pub to meet up with Misadventures (left) and our mutual friend Shelli (right). The necessary catching up occurs, and after a few drinks, gives way to pub games. I decide to share an old favourite of mine from tedious work days: The Knob/Love Game. Best described as "a simple game with far-reaching consequences", The Knob/Love Game can be played anywhere at any time, and requires only a basic knowledge of pop music to participate. The rules? Think of any song with the word "love" in the title (or lyrics) and substitute "love" for "knob". And prepare never to listen to the radio in the same way again.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of great Knob/Love examples out there, which always keeps the game fresh. A good session can have you racking your brains, as my good buddies demonstrate in the shot. But the greatest ones always come up first.

The Beatles - Hey! You've Got To Hide Your Knob Away
Donnie Osmond - Long-Haired Knobber From Liverpool
Whitney Houston - The Greatest Knob Of All
Soft Cell - Tainted Knob
Brian Molko - Jesus Knobs Me
M People - How Can I Knob You More?
The Kooks - Got No Knob
Stevie Wonder - Isn't She Knobbly?
and last but not least, AC/DC's fairly straightforward "Let Me Put My Knob Into You".

Hours of fun! Amaze your friends! Impress the opposite sex! Sicken your elderly relatives! Play the Knob/Love Game now!
