The secret forest

We live by the lake Maridalsvannet in Oslo. This is the city's main water source, surrounded by a fence on the southern side where most people live. The gates in the fence is only open during the winter months. Then it is a popular site for walks, ice skating, kiting and cross country skiing. Between us and the lake there is a small forest. We know a 'secret' hole in the fence, so during spring and summer we make small expeditions into our 'secret forest'.

Today it was quite windy on the lake and Knut went out ski kiting along with at least 30 other kiters. I had a walk while Sverre was sleeping in his trolley. Todays blip is of some rose hips which was a nice exception to all the white and brown in the winter forest.
