Christmas candle

Late morning - champagne and nibbles for 17, An astounding array of nibbles and alcohol, the traditional quiz (complete with the pedants qustioning spelling) and exchange of pressies. More than half the folk in the room had recived a gadget that started with an "i". That Mr Apple musta made a mint this festive season.

Mid afternoon - 7 course meal, more pressies, crackers, paper hats, crap jokes (what are the chances that I got the same joke in the work's "do" cracker and in the family meal cracker?), singstar (please note - Chelsea Dagger is much more tricky than you'd think), port, after dinner mints, Christmas cake, mince pies...

Evening - the traditional Christmas night quiz ( complete with the pedants again questioning spelling), blethering, turkey sandwiches, profiteroles, Turkish delight. liquers, mints, wine, mince pies.....

Now where did I put those Rennies?
