Salvage

This is the wreck of the containervessel MSC Chitra, laying with a heavy list in the entrance of the Port of Bombay. The MSC Chitra and MV Khalijia-III collided on 7th August 2010 and the MSC Chitra sank shortly after the collision as you can see. There was a lot of hassle about the consequenses and who was to pay for the salvage. Also that the ship had containers full of pesticides on board and the fact that the salvage divers refused to go into the water did it no good. But now Smit have started with the salvage job, or better expressed: wreck removal.
