Visiting a village

We only work with people who want to make a start, then we work with them.
Harisen and William made a wasted trip to a village today where they want handouts, but they now realise they have work to do.

Harisen writes:

John,

I was with William today, we went to visit an area in Ekwendeni where we asked the villagers to dig the well so that we can install some pumps in their area.
We went there to find nothing has been done since we left. We asked them to collect stones, sand and some bricks but it was a waste of time.
It is still raining and still warm, more weeds growing in Lusangazi and they are working hard to keep them controlled.
Tomorrow we will have a meeting analyse the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the year gone, in Lusangazi and to plan for 2011.
