Ouch! (Trade Mark)

The Girl Who Cried Wolf

Some may suspect your suffering
is just a product that you sell.
A well rehearsed performance
that you do so well.
They hear you cry out in the dark.
Ouch! (that's your trade mark).

But sometimes you hurt.
That's a fact.
The pain is real.
It's not an act.
Alone, you cry out in the dark.
Ouch! (That's your trade mark).

Sometimes the cut
is long and deep.
Sometimes you wake
from wounded sleep.
Alone, you cry out in the dark.
Ouch! (that's your trade mark).
