Not sure why I find lines of telegraph poles so interesting to look at and photograph, but these seemed to have a quality that even normal folks might appreciate!

While these ubiquitous features of our landscape are striking, they are rarely anything other than ugly. And yet we don't complain about them in quite the same way we complain about mobile phone masts, wind farms, etc. That may be just because they are so common that we hardly notice them, but it may be because they have a more human scale and the wooden poles a more homely feel.
