Need ID

This is panetela borracha or "drunken cake" in rum syrup. And the plate is my grandfather's sense of humor. A friend of my brothers dropped by, and being unfamiliar with my family we made him get out his ID and show it to my grandfather. After looking it over very carefully, he proclaimed, "Italian, eh? Well, you have a very intellegent face" and gave it back.

Bewildered, we cut the guy a piece of cake. Ah, the best part of the holidays, making people uncomfortable.
