Gratte-Ciel

I live in a neighbourhood called "Les Gratte-Ciel" (i.e. "skyscrapers") because of this street lined with buildings going up from 10 to 20 floors, which at the time of construction in the 1920's was quite avant-garde, especially if you consider that they were used as social housing with all the modern commodities that are central heating, balconies and lifts.
I can see those buildings from my appartment window, and I love the way they're lit up at night !
