Diets Always Start on a Monday

Hubby returned to work today, and it was H's day at nursery, so I decided to have a day to myself and use some of my mass of annual leave. I met an old friend for lunch and decided that there was no point in starting my New Year's diet until after the weekend, so treated myself to some hot chocolate fudge cake. Mmmmmm. I was worried that H would be a bit clingy after being with me for the past couple of weeks as she has only recently stopped crying when being left at nursery, but she surprised me by toddling off as soon as we entered the room, and hardly looked back. Result!
