'Gardening, Lesson One'

In gardening, companion planting is when you plant certain plants together so that they enhance each other. One may have great foliage, the other, beautiful flower colour. Together they are magnificent. They bring out the best in each other lets say.

Some combinations, however, may not work. If one were a sun lover, whilst the other liked shade. If one was a large self seeding perennial, it would block out the light and suffocate a smaller more delicate plant.

Some things are meant to be together. Some are not.

Here endeth gardening for beginners lesson one.
