Epiphany for a rocking horse

The twelfth day of Christmas is traditionally the occasion for the festive decorations to be taken down. Accordingly our live, potted, tree has resumed its accustomed place behind the overgrown wall in front of the house. But one of the ornaments, a little red felt rocking horse, has been left still hanging on it.

I can't remember where that particular one came from (Oxfam perhaps?) but some of the tree decorations go back a very long time and it's nice to see them re-appear like old friends for their annual display; it's also nice to put them away and forget them for another year so this one will have to rejoin the others until they are needed again.
