Two wonders of my world

What you have here are two things that fascinate me no matter how many times I see them.

We all know of the Forth Rail Bridge. An engineering marvel. In a way, a belt between The Capital and The Kingdom

And Orion. Also with it's own belt.

I'm quite pleased with this. It's one of many keepers shot tonight whilst freezing my ass off I hasten to add.

I've managed to get the whole of Orion. The belt running along the middle with the Orion Nebula M42 directly below it. To the top left is 'Betelguese' Bottom right is 'Riegel' and to the bottom left of Orion is 'Sirius' hovering above the middle span.

I need to warm-up now. It's -3 and dropping fast........
