Ice Barrel

Oh Boy was it hard getting up so early this morning for the first time in two weeks. 7.30am felt like the middle of the night. Made it to work in a daze. And pretty much spent the whole day in a daze.

The picture is of the remnants of the last mini ice age here at The Pike. I finally managed to tip the big blue barrel over to get the ice out. The barrel full of water had completely frozen to a block of ice and had fallen over on its side. The ice is very slowly melting, but we are due another cold spell so it will be there for a while.

Got an essay done tonight for my course. Now I just have to get stuck into my last book.
