Pied Shag - Karuhiruhi

A warm 24C, blue sky and a lovely breeze.

We took the opportunity of a sunny day to take Hubby's parents for a drive. We headed to an estuary where we found families fishing and crabs bathing in the sun. The tide was in and there was little birdlife so we drove further down the road where we found some Pied Shags sitting on branches close to the waterline, enjoying the sun and drying off after a swim.
