Feed the Birds

From the dreaded Mary Poppins :

Early each day to the steps of Saint Paul's
The little old bird woman comes
In her own special way to the people she call,
"Come, buy my bags full of crumbs;
Come feed the little birds,
Show them you care
And you'll be glad if you do
Their young ones are hungry
Their nests are so bare
All it takes is tuppence from you
Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag
Feed the birds," that's what she cries
While overhead, her birds fill the skies

All around the cathedral the saints and apostles
Look down as she sells her wares
Although you can't see it,
You know they are smiling
Each time someone shows that he cares

Though her words are simple and few
Listen, listen, she's calling to you
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag"

This rather murky shot is I'm afraid, your lot for today. Had to take Mrs. Joesblips for a medical check up today so most of the day was taken up with tha, leaving just a very short few minutes for blipping. Went looking for a shot at my "window on the world" and indeed managed to bag three but I only had a compact camera with me and between the appaling prevailing light and freezing cold fingers, they were all rubbish. Turned my attention to a different part of the pond and just had time to grab this before it was "time up". It was a genuinely garbage morning for outdoor shooting so in order to try to introduce some degree of interest I have colour popped it. Colour popping of course has nothing to do with Mary Poppins.
