the first tulips

These last few days have been rather depressing weather-wise. As the snow is finally gone here, the overall colour theme ranges from an undefined light grey to an undefined dark grey. Not to mention all the rain.

So when I passed the flower shop this morning I saw the first signs of spring: tulips :) In all sorts of colours. And even though I know that it will still take a while before spring will eventually arrive, it is always great to see these spring flowers appearing in flower shops.

Will go out tomorrow and buy some for my flat and who knows, it might even help with this dreadful time of year.
