I can almost see the pub from here...

I love winter days like this, it wasn't quite cold & crisp enough for the ground to be frozen so we had to cope with claggy Essex soil. An enjoyable wander, of varying distance (it was 12 km in the book, 6 miles by GPS, 6.1 miles by the govenors pedometer and 6.8 miles by BG's pedometer, take your pick!)

Had a great lunch (swapped with K to share her large doorstep with Suffolk ham and mustard), with a couple of pints of real ale and walked back to where we started. Fantastic!
