Out First Home

This is my wife inspecting a room in a house in York that we went on to buy. Our first house.

My wife recorded the event in her diary, that is why I am able to add it to my archives now.

You could see York Minster from an upstairs window.

About the day of house hunting my wife wrote: "All others impossible. Went all over it [the house in this photo], and wondered all night. Yes or No?"

The photo was taken with a Polaroid Swinger camera, hence the patchiness.
